This room was painted like a beach surfing shack.  With rough-cut wood planks painted across the wall, and bamboo painted at the corners, it made for a great room.  Life like bamboo was also painted, as if growing in front of the shack.
This entire playroom was painted into a beach environment. With adirondack chairs, sections of fencing, sea dune grasses, islands, sailboats, beach umbrellas, along with blue sky and clouds made for a wonderful room.
Every year Bethesda Elementary School (BE) has a fundraiser called Bottlemania.  For this event, each kid decorates a used bottle, and stuffs it with small candies and little toys.  The bottles are then sold at their end of the year fair to raise money for the PTA.

I was asked to be one of the judges for the event-- The top two bottles from every class won prizes.

I had no idea what to expect, but was excited about seeing the kids work.  In each and every class I was blown away  by the effort, imagination and execution of the bottles.  They were absolutely amazing, and I could have handed out 10 prizes in each class.  It was an event that I will long remember.
